Recruitment of Moderators for e-Consultation Forum

Hello fellow AJC Alumnus!

After graduation, have you ever had problems deciding on which university to go to? What course to take? Can we apply for scholarships? What are the requirements for us to qualify for the university/course/scholarship? Should we study in a local or overseas university?

We now have a solution.

We are introducing an online forum where AJCians can consult teachers and seniors regarding issues pertaining to current JC affairs to post A Level options. Ex-AJCians are strongly encouraged to come forward and share their experiences with their juniors. With this portal, they will then be able to easily find information regarding university life, courses and scholarship requirements, local and overseas university comparisons, and many more. This would also be a portal where students can interact among themselves and share information regarding their present school life as well, such as academic consultation, event information (e.g. College Day), and CCA updates.

This is a fantastic way for us to contribute back to the college and also to improve the standards of AJC, thereby allowing our juniors to be the best that they can be. However, we cannot do this alone, and thus we need YOUR help!

We are currently looking for advisors to contribute and manage the various aspects of the forum:
  1. University Courses (Local/Overseas)
  2. Surviving University (Module Bidding/Hostel/CCAs)
  3. Scholarships (Experiences/Application Process/Types of Scholarships)
  4. Career Guidance (Job prospects)
  5. Attachment and Internship Opportunities
  6. E-consultation on subject matters
The role of advisors: To validate information that is shared in the forum, correcting if necessary. Moreover, they can share their personal experiences and advice to provide guidance in the respective fields. An advisor is not restricted to one aspect.

This would be just a small contribution from each one of us, but together, we can make a huge difference to the lives of AJCians. We sincerely seek your co-operation to make this a great success. If interested, please email us at forum@ajcaa.com to find out more, or contact the following coordinators:
