Congratulations to Ms Siau Fong Fui (PDG 31/91) for her new appointment as the Vice Principal of AJC

Anderson Junior College Alumni Association (AJCAA) would like to express our sincere congratulations to our fellow ex-AJCian, Ms Siau Fong Fui (PDG 31/91), for her new appointment as the Vice Principal of our alma mater. Ms Siau is well deserved for this role with her outstanding contributions to the College in her various leadership appointments since she returned to AJC as a Chinese Language teacher in 1999. She was appointed as the Subject Head for non-sports CCAs in 2003. From 2004 to June 2010, she served as the Head of Department for Student Affairs Department. She is appointed as the Vice Principal on 15 June 2010.

In June 2005, Ms Siau took a year off from work to teach at the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, under the MOE-Singapore International Foundation (SIF) OuTrEACH Programme. She also helped to develop a Diploma course for the undergraduates and a training programme for the local Chinese Language teachers.

Ms Siau is also one of the founding members of AJCAA, which is started in 2001. To date, she continues to involve herself in AJCAA programmes and plays an active role in building the partnership between the College and the Association. AJCAA looks forward to her making great stride in her career and to continue to work closely with her in AJCAA in the coming years.

Dialogue Session

We would be holding a dialogue session on 31 August 2010 (Tuesday) at 7:30pm to meet interested alumni who wish to know more about the latest updates of AJCAA and AJC. At the same time, as part of our Mentorship Programme, we would be discussing and brainstorming how we can assist, mentor, and serve the current students to prepare them for their next stage of lives.
