Alumni Exco Weekly Updates #1

Dear Excos,

Geeks' Night is 7 days away

Geeks' Night team, pls give us an update on the responses so far? Believe we need a response of 40 before the event will proceed as planned right. Thanks.

Has the msg been sent out to our whole mailing list? Don't think i've receive any email on this. Qixiang, can work with Peggy to send out the email based on our current emailing system? Thanks.

AGM is 8 days away

From the last meeting, there's still a no. of things to finalised.

Junyong, KK, is the Treasury Report ready? Will i get to take a look at the draft? Thanks.
Qixiang, as spoken, can send me the draft blueprint? Will like to have some time to go thr before the AGM. We'll also need to send to Ms Leong, preferably a few days before the AGM. Thanks
Peggy, Siew Hwa, is the project report ready? Can let me take a look at the draft? Thanks.
Kent, can help me get an update how many of the Excos & the Outreach group will be coming for the AGM? Appreciate if everyone can help to spread the word out and invite friends or individuals who are keen to serve the Alumni to come for the AGM. Once we have some indication of how many pple are coming, we can then determine how much refreshments to prepare. Thanks.

Peggy, can help do an email blast to the AJCAA list on the upcoming AGM. Thanks.
Ms Siau, believe we did not confirm on the timing of the AGM. Shall we set it at 10.30am? Pls let me know if this timing is an issue. Thanks.

Thoughts and reflections

Think we are fortunate that some members have stepped up into the various key appointments left empty (except for Vice Secretary currently). For all ex, current and future appointment holders, much as i appreciate all that you have done and contributed to AJCAA, kindly note that individual appointment holder is to source for their own successors. As appointment holders, i believe everyone is fully aware of the constraints we faced. Hence, i believe this request of finding your own successor before stepping down is not too much to ask, considering the shock it'll bring to the system.

Regards,
Keith
President
