AJCAA Tutoring Programme 2010

We are glad that 13 ex-AJCians have come forward and signed up as tutors to volunteer their time for the coming AJCAA Tutoring Programme 2010. We will like to thank them in advance.

However, we still need more volunteers to join us especially those who can teach Economics.

(If you are still considering whether to sign up, take a look at the report and photos for the Programme held last year at http://www.ajcaa.com/tutoring/view/year/2009/.)

We look forward to you joining us.

If you are keen to volunteer, feel free to SMS Kent Teo at 91918526 or email tutoring@ajcaa.com by 30 July 2010.

For more information, please visit http://www.ajcaa.com/tutoring/.

All interested volunteers are to attend the briefing session on 31st July 2010.

Launching of AJ Link

We have created AJ Link, an online forum for the AJC Community at http://www.ajcaa.com/forums/. AJ Link will be launched during AJC's Career & Scholarship Fair on 28 July 2010.

The current graduating batch of students will be invited to register for an account and post any question related to post A Level options, such as career options, university/course/scholarship requirements, etc.

We would like to invite you to register for an account and take part in the online discussions either by replying to any question posed by your juniors, or by starting a discussion thread with information useful to them.

Examples of information that you can share include:
  • University Courses (Local/Overseas)
  • Surviving University (Module Bidding/Hostel/CCAs)
  • Scholarships (Experiences/Application Process/Types of Scholarships)
  • Career Guidance (Job prospects)
  • Attachment and Internship Opportunities
  • E-consultation on subject matters
To register for an account, please visit http://www.ajcaa.com/forums/register.php.

If you have any suggestion or feedback regarding the forums, please email us at forum@ajcaa.com, or contact the following coordinators:

Teacher's Day Dedication 2010

Since 2006, with every approaching Teachers' Day, Anderson Junior College Alumni Association and its members have looked for ways to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the teachers of AJC.

We will be creating a dedication page to include your words of thanks, compliments and dedications to any current/former AJC teacher(s) you have in mind.

We have created an online submission form at http://www.ajcaa.com/dedications/add/ where you can submit your special Teachers' Day dedications to your AJC teachers.

The dedication page will be made known to all AJC teachers and published on our web site on 31 August 2010.
