25th Anniversary Public Concerts

Come join in the celebrations as AJC's performing arts CCAs dazzle with two combined concerts at the Republic Polytechnic Cultural Centre! The two performances on 24 May 2009 (Sunday) are at 2pm and 7pm, and will feature music and dance talents from the Chinese Orchestra, Choir, Dance Society, Guitar Ensemble, Harmonica Club, Malay LDDS, Symphonic Band and Tamil LDDS. 25 batches of AJcians have graduated, 25 years have passed. AJC is now 25 years old. Remember the good times when you were here with us. All those wonderful memories can be recalled through an evening where teachers and ex-AJCians like you reminisce the good old days. Our college will be organizing a homecoming dinner as a finale to our 25th Anniversary celebrations on 29th August @ AJC. On top of that, you can celebrate Teacher's Day with us! AJ Family Run / 25th Anniversary

Dear Alumni,

As your faithful reporter of news on AJC, I take an excerpt from this year's very special and unique homecoming - our 25th Anniversary. (:

"Anderson Junior College celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year. To build for the next lap, the College seeks donations to its Building and Development Fund to enable the College to sustain and expand its commitment to excellence. The donations will enable us to continue to offer our students, whatever their means, a holistic education within a stimulating and supportive environment, and provide them with a wide range of opportunities and excellent facilities during their time here.

In our commitment to the donors and sponsors, students, staff, parents and alumni members will embark on a 25 km run. This run is symbolic as we trace our glorious 25 years with representatives from the 25 batches of AJCians."

And from the main class doing this marathon run - 19/08 - comes a message:

"On behalf of the college, class 19/08 is cordially inviting ex-ajcians to join the college in celebrating her 25th Anniversary. As part of celebrations, the college will be embarking on a 25km run, which will require the participation from her 25 batches of students.
