AJCAA Alumni Tutoring Programme Updates
For the third consecutive year, AJCAA has organised a tutoring programme for the A Level students of AJC, in order to support the current batch of graduating students in their studies.

For 2008, the Alumni Association has managed to expand upon the previous year's programme. In 2007, the tutoring programme consisted of 6 sessions, benefitting 30 of the weaker students in the graduating batch. Last year, the tutoring programme has benefitted 39 students, and we have managed to expand the programme to 9 sessions, starting on 16 August, and ending on 25 October. 13 of our alumnus step forward to volunteer their time and commitment in serving as the tutors. The range of subjects that the tutors tutored were GP, Maths, Chemistry and Physics.
AJCAA would like to thank all our volunteer tutors who have made the effort to step forward to help their juniors with their studies. We thank you for your commitment and concern for our juniors, and we look forward to serving you in the year ahead.
Our volunteers are (in alphabatical order):
Deborah Tay Wyn-Jie
John Soh Hui Qing
Kelvin
Kendrik Tan
Kwan Qixiang
Mr Larry Lee (ex-AJC teacher)
Ng Cheng Yang
Ng Jinsheng
Soh Wan Wei

Lim Kopi Session Cum Bak Kwa Party 10 Jan 2009
Since the Lim Kopi Session started last year, we are slowly gaining support with the presence of more and more participants. In time to come, we hope to see alumni turning up for the session in classes or CCA groups. AJCAA hopes our AJ family remains connected and close knitted.
In conjunction with the Lim Kopi session, we also gave out Certificates to thank tutors who have volunteered to provide tution to our juniors. AJCAA tutoring programme started since 2006 and we are very grateful to the tutors for their sacrifices and strong support. We hope to see more Alumni coming forward to help our juniors.

Since the Lim Kopi Sessions started, Marcus Pang has been in charge of organising the event. I would like to take the opportunity to thank him for the contribution. As Marcus is posted to China, he will be out of action for a short while. I'm sure he'll be missed.
If you would like to join our cause in connecting the AJ family, feel free to contact us at info@ajcaa.com!
